Colour Moodboard

I have designed this color mood board. This particular one features only 4 main colors, however, I have included different shades of said colors. This is because, until i make my final product, i wont know for definite which colors that i'll want to use and which colors will look best over my main images and other images featured in my magazine. The main colors i have featured are, green, blue, black and red - plus, all the variations of them colors. I got the idea of these colors from the survey I done on survery monkey. From this survey got 24 respondents, suggesting i feature these four colors in my magazine.

Advertisers Moodboard

My advertisers mood board includes different brands and companies that i believe would sponsor this type of alternative and pop punk magazine. It includes brands such as iTunes. I believe a company like apple/iTunes would be able to sponsor this type of magazine because obviously, it includes music. I also chose to include skate brands such as Element and Santa Cruz because skateboarding can sometimes be closely related to pop punk music. I decided to also include music streaming sites such as YouTube and Spotify and also music selling shops like HMV.

Target Audience Moodboard

My target audience mood board consists of many different things I believe my audience are interested in. I have included pictures of different types of musicians and different alternative bands that I think they would listen to. It includes bands such as Man Overboard, Blink-182 and State Champs, these bands are well known in the alternative music industry and i expect that the target audience will all recognize the majority of them. The mood board also includes pictures of vans, raybans and a plaid shirt - all known as 'pop punk' clothing items. I believe the audience will identify with this. The main genre of music that will be featured in my magazine is pop punk and that is why i have chosen most of the pictures featured to be based around the pop punk genre. I have also included pictures of music festival billboards including Reading and Leeds, and slam dunk festival.
